Quilter's License Plate Search

I have been searching like crazy for a vanity license plate that says something cute about quilting. I don't need a frame. I have that. I need a cute plate to go inside the frame on the front of my car. See, when I attached the current plate to my car, I made a few mistakes (to say the least) and now I need to have a plate there to cover up the extra holes.... I am astonished but I can not find one to purchase! I would have thought that there would be a multitude of quilter's license plates to purchase. Is Florida the only state that uses only one plate on the car anymore? I don't get it, but either way, does anyone know of a place to purchase a Quilter's vanity plate? Post a comment with the link if you do!

Delaware also only has one plate, left over from war days when they decided it would save metal.
And I've seen quilter's vanity plates on eBay and at quilt shows. It is odd that no quilt shops sell them, even to advertise their shops. Especially in us one plate states.

If you are still looking for a quilty license plate, Montana has them. You don't have to have a car registered in the state to get one either. You can choose up to 7 characters to put on the plate. Check it out at http://www.eurekaquiltshow.com/LicensePlate.htm or the state web site at www.mt.gov.

It's quite possible that you've already found one. I just came across your blog today in my own search. I have found a website that carries them. It's www.cafepress.com I ordered mugs from them this past Christmas. Although they were slow to mail it could have been due to the holiday rush. Anyway so far they're the only ones I've found. Hope it helps.
